Isn’t he handsome and grubby and loved. This is not to say I don’t love my beauty girl press at the moment but this press has battle scars and had direct wounds inflicted on it. I remember when it got busted up and I couldn’t even voice that there was a problem with one of the screws.

So now the press is back on my bench and I will be able to clamp books real tight when I colour the edges and burnish then with wax.
I am off to buy some steel wool to clean up the ploughs metal bits.
